Chef Brandon Brooks brings over 20 years of experience in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries to Brooks & Landry Fine Catering. He has successfully led numerous restaurants that specialize in handmade farm-to-table cuisine. Originally from San Diego, California, Chef Brandon relocated to Detroit with his wife in 2017 to start their own business. In 2021, the duo launched Brooks & Landry Fine Catering, which has experienced significant growth as a family business. Chef Brandon is passionate about Latin American cuisine, particularly the flavors of the Baja Peninsula, and incorporates these regional tastes into his cooking. He has won several local food competitions throughout his career in brick-and-mortar restaurants, and in 2015, he received the opportunity to advance his skills at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone after being awarded by the San Diego Chef Celebration Alumni. Chef Brandon has also published numerous recipes and has contributed to two cookbooks, "Brew Food - Great Beer Inspired Appetizers, Main Courses, and Desserts - 2012" and "Living Coastal - Inspirations for Entertaining, Decorating, and Cooking California Style - 2013."
