There is a particular kind of quiet that settles over a kitchen on Thanksgiving morning when the cooking is already done. That quiet is what we're offering. A catered Thanksgiving dinner for 4 to 12 people from Brooks & Landry costs between $265 and $450 with the turkey, or $175 - $275 if you'd rather roast the bird yourself. That's roughly $23 to $66 per person. It arrives chilled in oven-ready pans with reheating instructions, so dinner reaches the table in a couple of hours, not a couple of days. Order by Thursday, November 19 at 6 PM for pickup or delivery on Wednesday, November 25, anywhere in Metro Detroit.

What's in a catered Thanksgiving dinner?

Thanksgiving is the one holiday when everyone at the table has an opinion about the sides, so we don't hand you a fixed menu. Choose five of our six:

  • Home-style sausage and sage stuffing with chestnuts

  • Mashed Yukon Gold potatoes (gluten-free)

  • Rosemary and garlic roasted root vegetables (gluten-free)

  • Green bean and Pinconning cheese casserole

  • Mac & cheese

  • Maple brown sugar candied yams with candied walnut streusel

Can't bear to leave one out? The sixth side is $20. For dessert, choose between our Dutch apple-cranberry pie and pumpkin cheesecake, and if the table can't agree, a second dessert is $25.

The turkey comes two ways. The whole bird is brined, spatchcocked and oven roasted, which helps it cook evenly from breast to thigh. The breast is brined, roasted and sliced, ready for the platter. And the gravy starts where good gravy should: with turkey bone broth we make in our own kitchen, finished with drippings, fresh thyme and sage.

Is catering Thanksgiving worth it?

That depends on how many people you're feeding and what your time is worth to you. Here's the per-person math on our packages:

Package

Per person, smaller group

Per person, larger group

Whole Feast, feeds 4–6

$66 for 4

$44 for 6

Whole Feast, feeds 8–12

$56 for 8

$38 for 12

Everything but the Bird, feeds 4–6

$44 for 4

$29 for 6

Everything but the Bird, feeds 8–12

$34 for 8

$23 for 12

If cooking the whole meal is your favorite part of the holiday, cook it. That's a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we mean it. Catering earns its place when you're hosting a crowd, working the week of the holiday, or would simply rather spend Thursday with your people than with your oven. There's a popular middle ground, too: roast the family turkey the way it's always been done, and let us handle everything around it.

How do you reheat a catered Thanksgiving dinner?

Every dish arrives chilled in its own oven-ready container, with written instructions for oven temperature, timing and the order to heat things in. They're sequenced so everything comes out hot at the same moment. No guesswork, and no dried-out bird.

How does ordering work?

  1. Order online by Thursday, November 19 at 6 PM. Choose your package, your five sides, your dessert and any add-ons.

  2. Pick up or get delivery on Wednesday, November 25, 9 AM to 6 PM. Collect your order from our Allen Park kitchen, or we'll deliver anywhere in Metro Detroit for $50, free on orders of $500 or more.

  3. Reheat and serve on Thursday. Then sit down with everyone else.

Quantities are limited. Our kitchen team is small, and we won't cut corners to stretch it further. When we sell out, we sell out.

Add-ons for the hours before dinner

Guests always arrive hungry long before the turkey is carved. A board or two keeps them happily occupied while the oven does its work:

  • Artisan cheese board with Michigan Pinconning cheese: $59 (feeds 4–6) or $89 (feeds 8–12)

  • Domestic cheese board, crudité board with dips, or seasonal fruit tray: $39 or $59

  • Chef's canapés and crostini by the dozen, from $32: fig and goat cheese, prosciutto and apple, duck confit and more

A practical note: The Whole Feast for 8–12 plus a large artisan cheese board comes to $539, comfortably past the $500 mark for free delivery.
